Donata Magrin
Donata is a Chartered Resource and Waste Manager (CRWM) with an international career spanning over twenty-five years across both the public and private sectors in Italy, the UK, and the USA. She worked on large-scale projects in critical areas such as environmental sustainability, waste management, and the remediation of contaminated sites
More recently her work and research have focused on pioneering innovative solutions to tackle climate change and mitigate the impacts of anthropogenic emissions on air quality with a proven track record of securing and managing public institution grants
As a child, I discovered my love for rocks and minerals. This passion evolved over the years into studying Earth Sciences at university
My first job, saw me walk on a landfill. That was my aha moment. I felt outraged by the tonnes of stuff thrown away every day and I decided to dedicate my career on preserving natural resources and products that deserve more than one life
